In the scenic foothills country south west of Calgary some of the
great ranching operations were born over a hundred years ago.
Many carry on changed, perhaps parceled up, but some still cling
strongly to tradition and have endured despite modern pressures.
John Scott is a third generation Longview rancher who has taken
advantage of, used, improved and marketed all the knowledge of
horses and ranching passed on to him by his grandfather.
